OTHERNETSOtherNets: Information on Networks other than FidoNet
Moderator: Thom LaCosta1:261/1352
The OTHERNETS echo has been established for the dissemination of information about "OtherNets". OtherNets are the multiple alternative networks other than FidoNet. Many of us know of some, such as AmberNet, EggNet, Signet and RBBS-NET. But, did you know a network exists for Star Trek fans? Or business users? How about a network for those of the Christian Faith? Have you heard of LCRNet? Paranet? CandyNet? Where can you find Netland Electronic Magazine? If you're interested in alternative networks, you'll want to participate in the OTHERNETS echo. THE list of othernetworks...NETSALL.ART is published weekly in OTHERNETS, and contact points for these networks are urged to join the echo. Posters in OTHERNETS echo MUST be able to receive either Fido Netmail or InterNet E-Mail. A sister echo, NETLINE may be used for detailed communications between members of the Othernets.
